Car was good. I only had a problem with Hertz as I had a late flight and called them directly as I am a member and asked if I could just go straight to my car. When I called and said I was a member, they asked for my membership number and then they proceeded to cancel my original reservation and rebook it and a much higher rate without telling me. Why? Who knows. This caused confusion at pick up to say the least. I took the car and decided to sort it out later. QEEQ took care of this for me after I called them and explained what had happened.

The queue at Hertz is usually short since they have more counters open; you can generally get things done quickly. The nearby 'Triple-One' isn't as efficient, but it's cheaper. Hertz's insurance is slightly less aggressive with their upselling; they offered $10 per day and I went ahead and purchased it. 'Triple-One,' on the other hand, tries to upsell everything. While their orders are cheaper, their insurance often makes up the difference. Hertz strikes a better balance overall.

The rental drop off is not in the airport terminal. You need to take a shuttle bus to the terminal. I told them I have lots of luggage, and it will be difficult to carry it onto the bus, so one of the Hertz team members drove me to the terminal, meaning I did not have to unload the car!

About Hertz: 7.0 /10
Paid extra for a vehicle that would seat 7. The car did not seat 7, it seated 5. When I spoke to the Hertz staff she indicated that the car does seat 7 and told me it has a third row seat. I went back out to the car to check and It did not. She told me the only other car they could offer me would cost an additional 100.00 per day.
