As I said before I ran into a lot of problems with my cars:
- first car looked reasonable but discovered later that rubber of windshield whiper was loose (not practical since it rained a lot). Furthermore car notification that car needed a engine oil now. Had to swap car
- second car less comfortable and after one day received a notification of engine malfunction. Had to swap cars again. However, closest Budget location was >60 miles away. Very inconvenient and time consuming
- third car was fairly new and quite good. Budget representative tried to give me a Dodge Charger first which is not a SUV at all. Eventually after waiting I was offered a good car. At the end of my trip this car also gave a notification that engine oil change was due.
Terrible service. The person who signed the contract didn't mention anything about adding extra insurance and just added it to the contract. When I went to address it later, they said once the contract is signed, it can't be refunded. Who would read through such a complicated English contract line by line? They added $175 worth of insurance without my knowledge. I thought only in my home country would there be such traps, but apparently, they exist in the U.S. too! Never using Budget again! Also, the car model I got wasn't even on the list of available models. Very dissatisfied!
Waiting in line for 40 minutes is understandable, but after finishing the paperwork, waiting an additional 2 hours to get the car is too long... Everyone was complaining and asking the counter staff where the cars were. This needs improvement.

We waited 1 hour and 15 mins before we even got to the counter. It was an awful experience. The staff at Budget LaGuardia were rude, loud and dismissive. They shouted behind the counter to each other and to customers. The couldn't care less about customer service or satisfaction. I don't understand how they operate on a daily basis.
