Very smooth process. They will ask if you need to purchase insurance. Just provide a driver's license translation and passport.

Waited for half an hour because the pre-booked baby seat wasn’t fitted. The car itself was disgustingly filthy. Had never been cleaned and the previous occupants had left such a horrible mess. Steering wheel and dashboard screen and buttons were covered in an unknown sticky substance. The car smelled of smoke mixed with fruit juice (presumably previously spilled in the car). There was food all on the floors and under the seats and discarded cigarette butts under the seats. The boot was full of mud and dirt. I contacted Europcar but they never returned my calls or emails. We only hired the car for 24 hours and I was in such a rush I wasn’t able to return the car and ask for an exchange.

As a business customer, I would like to find a way of going straight to the car and not repeating all the application details which are very time-consuming. However Stephen, our customer service guy was excellent and made the process as painless as possible. And everything else was as it should be. Thank you.

During the booking process, I accidentally booked a car at the wrong pick up time. I applied for a refund and rebooked the car. A few hours later, I received a call noting that I had made two bookings and confirming the refund. It was a great piece of customer service that put my mind at ease that the correct booking was in place. I would recommend QEEQ again on the basis of this attention to detail. Clearly there was a flag system in place and I appreciate the confidence that that gave me about my booking.

We did not like the extras we have to pay. Would prefer to have all paid up front and taking the car will be much easier. I hope all bookings will ge all inclusive next time. Seems like we have to add on so many little things. Adds up to the cost which is hidden in the initial booking. Leaves a bit of a bad taste.
