After swiping the credit card for pre-authorization, the car rental procedures were completed quickly. They explained the important details, and I proceeded to pick up the car. However, you need to proactively request a vehicle inspection. The company will provide an inspection form where you should check for any damages to the vehicle, note them on the form, and return one copy to the rental company. It's also a good idea to upload photos of the car from various angles and any damage points to the QEEQ app as suggested, ensuring double protection.

Me and a friend booked 2 Mustangs for our American road trip, we got there early just in case. Pickup time was 11, our cars weren't ready until 12.30 so we waited about for over an hour and a half to then be given a Camaro and a Mercedes. How can you compare a Mustang to a Mercedes. Ones a 4 seater American car, the other is a 2 seater car you can find anywhere so we had trouble with our luggage space (you can only fit 1 suitcase in this car). Awful service from Hertz
