Huge five-star review for Sicily by Car!!! The staff are very attentive and even upgraded us to an Audi A1 for free. The car was very new, with just over 8000 kilometers. We bought full insurance, and despite many scratches from our road trip, we weren't charged a penny! A hundred thousand thanks! The car pick-up spot is on the underground level 1 of Terminal 1 at the airport. Make sure to pay attention to whether you should go downstairs from the parking garage or the car rental office, as we went around in circles and wasted some time.

Pick up instructions were poor. The location of the pick up desks could be made clearer as there are several lifts in the arrivals floor and not all take you to the car hire location, some take you straight into the car park underneath the terminal building which wasted a lot of our time. Nowhere in pick up information did it mention which car hire company I needed to look for. Sicily by Car was only mentioned in the drop off instructions. Once I got to the Sicily by Car pick up desk the process was very easy. The problem was with the written instructions in the email from Qeeq.

I think the above says it all. Almost 3 hour wait and no apology from anyone , terrible organisation and then got charged 40 quid extra for a quarter tank of petrol for a car that costs 50 pounds to fill up.

Debit card is not enough and credit card is required for booking.
