Great experience, the rental process was smooth.

The sales method at Avis in the UK is very problematic. At T2, the staff told me that the Opel Crossland X I rented was unavailable, and I could only rent a small Vauxhall Astra, which could only fit one large piece of luggage. When I got to the parking lot, I saw several SUV-like Opels. After discussing with the manager at the store, they finally gave me a Vauxhall Mokka X.

Convenient procedures

We requested for a navigation system which we paid an amount per day. I think it was £14 per day for a total of 6 days. Later we found our That it would have been cheaper for us to purchase a brand new system. The Service desk could have told us that. Why would you need to charge per day? Also to add on an additional driver we had to pay per day. I feel every add on turns out very expensive and the rental companies are taking every opportunity to charge us.

Massive queue at the pick up counter which really delayed my departure from the airport and plans for the evening. Seemed really slow with nothing pre-printed and only one printer which then jammed. Lady on the desk was lovely but horrible wait outweighed this. Will actively avoid Avis in the future if that’s the counter process.
