You can arrive of Avis - London Heathrow Airport Terminal car rental by free shuttle bus.

When you arrive at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, please proceed to bus stop 25 (which is located on the arrivals level of Terminal 5) and take a short journey on the Avis Budget shuttle to our brand-new location at the Holiday Inn Hotel London Heathrow. Our team look forward to welcoming you there.

Drop-off Instructions

If you are departing from Terminal 5, please return the vehicle to our office at:Holiday Inn Heathrow 276 Bath Road, UB7 0DQ After returning the vehicle, you can take the "Avis Budget shuttle" back to Terminal 5. The shuttle will drop you off at the departure level of Terminal 5.

When visiting the UK, it's essential to have a car for the countryside and highlands. You can't fully enjoy the Lake District, Peak District, or Isle of Skye without one. Joining a local tour group isn't the ideal way to travel; self-driving is much better. Avis is a big company, and getting the car you want is a great start to a perfect trip. The car provided was already large enough, but they recommended a more expensive one, which I wasn't very happy about. Adding an additional driver costs £14 per day. We picked up the car in London and drove to Oxford and Cambridge. The countryside roads in the UK are narrow and traffic is fast, so careful driving is necessary.

The car rental experience this time was perfect. Upon landing, it was very easy to locate T5. Right outside the exit was Avis's shuttle, which took only five minutes to reach the rental office. There was no insurance upselling; I opted for an additional trailer insurance at £5 per day because the countryside roads were extremely narrow. When a large truck approached from the opposite direction, I had to stop on the roadside in a hurry and accidentally scratched the tire. I’m not sure if I’ll be charged for it. Upon returning the car, the staff assured me not to worry since I had purchased comprehensive insurance back in China. The trip isn’t over yet, so I haven’t seen the final billing statement.
