【Real Experience Renting a Car at Zurich Airport | Lazy Version Summary】 ✅ Pros: 1⃣ Super Convenient Location: The pickup point is directly opposite the airport arrival hall, a 5-minute walk with clear signs. 2⃣ High Service Efficiency: Staff are fluent in English, and the process is completed within 10 minutes, keys handed over directly. 3⃣ Reliable Vehicle Condition: Received a car less than 2 years old, full fuel, clean interior, Swiss car rental quality is trustworthy. ⚠ Notes: ▪ Price Excludes Tax: On-site payment may be about 50% higher than the booking price (e.g., website shows 100 CHF, actual payment around 150). ▪ Be Cautious About Model Upgrades: Avoid being tempted by 'free upgrades' unless necessary, as they might come with hidden tax and insurance costs. ▪ Two Options for Insurance: → Hassle-free: Choose full coverage from the rental company (about 30 CHF extra per day, no need for inspection at drop-off). → Cost-saving: Buy third-party insurance in advance (remember to take videos of the entire car during pickup, especially wheels and windows).
