They claim to have airport pick-up service, but there isn't any. Called them and was told they would arrive in 5 minutes, but ended up waiting for half an hour. Same thing happened during drop-off: we arranged for 8:30, arrived early at 8:00, called them again and were told they would arrive in 5 minutes, but they showed up at 8:55, nearly causing us to miss our flight. If your language skills aren't great, don't give yourself the trouble—it's better to spend a bit more and rent directly at the airport.

Matcar's contact number needs improvement; it’s a national hotline in Turkish and disconnects automatically if idle for a minute. In Izmir, I had to make several calls. Fortunately, a taxi manager whose friend works at this rental company helped us by calling privately, but it wasted half an hour. The vehicles at this company are relatively new and much cheaper than other international brands, but prices have doubled compared to four years ago. The price for returning the car to a different location is significantly higher than returning it to the original location. As a result, I preferred to spend an extra day returning the car to Izmir, reducing the price from 4000 to 1700 yuan. Other renters may consider this option.

Very satisfied! No forced insurance purchase! Communication was very smooth! Special thanks to staff members Bilge, Muqzzez, and Serhan! All three were very kind and patient! My English was about the same level as the staff, but they patiently explained things to me multiple times, which made me feel much more at ease right after getting off the plane! I saw many comments about compulsory insurance and rude behavior if you refuse, but my experience was different. They didn't force anything, just moved to the next step and patiently explained where to pick up and drop off the car. It made me feel that Turkish people are very friendly! WindyCar! Go for it!

When picking up the car, the staff directly printed the contract and gave it to me to sign. I asked the staff, I booked for 1428 RMB, why is it now 1774 lira? They said the extra 300-plus was all taxes and that my booking through Zuzuche did not include taxes. I believed them. After I returned home, I asked the customer service of Zuzuche, and they told me that the additional charge was for insurance. Damn! The car rental company never mentioned anything about additional insurance! I finally understood that they completely took advantage of our lack of Turkish knowledge to add insurance arbitrarily! Everyone, please be cautious and don't fall into their trap!

Extremely poor experience. 1. The location for completing the rental paperwork is very far from the actual car pickup spot, requiring over 10 minutes of walking to get there. After finally finding an inconspicuous corner in the parking lot where the cars were, we were informed that there was an issue with the paperwork and were told to return to the paperwork location ourselves to sort it out. We asked why they couldn't resolve it over the phone, and after much back-and-forth they finally managed to fix the issue. 2. The fuel tank of the car was not full when we picked it up, with only 1/8 of a tank, which violates standard rental procedures as cars are usually delivered with a full tank. When we returned the car, we ended up overfilling it to at least 1/2 a tank, as it was difficult to precisely refill to 1/8. 3. Most infuriatingly, the company charged us a €500 deposit at the time of rental, promising to refund it within 30 days. However, even after 60 days, the deposit still hasn't been returned, while my friend's deposit at another company was refunded within a day after returning the car. We’ve repeatedly contacted this rental company, and they've kept saying the refund would be processed soon, but nothing has been resolved. Is this company bankrupt or no longer operating? We have no idea when this will be resolved. It's completely outrageous—avoid this company at all costs! Choosing them was a nightmare!

First, they gave us a car that had over 170,000 kilometers on it, and it was full of scratches. Crucially, they didn't provide any proof, just saying that they were all aware of it. Who can feel assured by that? What if they blame us in the end? So, we spent a lot of time taking photos and videos as evidence. Second, the right car door was broken, and they didn't tell us when handing the car over. We spent half an hour fixing it on the road with the help of some kind-hearted people. We could finally close it but didn't dare open it again for the rest of the trip. Third, the tank wasn't full when we picked up the car, and again, they admitted this but didn't give any proof. When returning the car, we managed to refuel it to approximately the same level (which was tricky because you have to drive to the return point after refueling, making it hard to estimate). We showed the return staff the fuel gauge photo from pick-up, and he didn't say anything or take any photos himself. Later, over 300 lira was deducted from my credit card for fuel and a refueling service fee. It's really infuriating.

The place to return the car was not at the airport, but in a remote area with no street lights. The staff who inspected the car tried to make us pay for chewing gum stains that were already on the car seat and didn't allow us to contact the staff at the pickup location. It was very bad.

The service was terrible. They didn't provide the car we booked, giving us a lower grade vehicle instead. The drop-off location in Antalya was in a remote residential area you wouldn't believe... The car had a small scratch, and they charged us 700 lira for repair because we didn't report it to the police (it would have just needed some polishing back home). After arguing, they reduced it to 350 lira (repair cost seemed arbitrary). Later, in Goreme, the rental company there clearly stated that small accidents didn't need to be reported and were covered by insurance. Can we give this company a negative rating!

Due to a system error, my flight information was lost, causing a delay of an hour as I waited at the domestic terminal while they waited at the international terminal in Izmir airport. I have a serious complaint about this supplier. The right rear tire of the car they gave me started leaking air on the first day! This delayed my trip by a whole day! The supplier didn't even acknowledge the issue! Although I contacted the platform and they arranged roadside assistance, the service company said they don't deal with tire leaks! They even wanted to charge me over 200 yuan to change the spare tire! I had to do it myself! I never expected that my first rental experience would also teach me how to change a spare tire! At that time, I was in Turkey, unfamiliar with the place and couldn't speak the language! I felt utterly helpless, like a lamb falling into a trap ready to be slaughtered! After changing the spare tire, I had to look for a repair shop... I ended up fixing the supplier's car while driving around Turkey! I also want to warn everyone not to choose this supplier! A slow tire leak cannot be detected when picking up the car! Plus, the car they gave me had obvious collision marks both front and back; luckily, I took photos in advance! Otherwise, I would have been scammed more! The second serious issue is that I rented a fully insured car! But when I returned the car, they charged me 300 dollars for paint scratches caused by the left rear brushing against a pole! They said it was a deposit! Due to his heavy accent, I only understood part of what he said! I explained that the car was fully insured and I should not be liable for single-party accidents! He completely ignored this! He hurriedly told me the police wouldn't allow parking there and urged me to swipe my card! I was rushing to catch a flight and had no time to argue! He was being entirely unreasonable! Afraid of missing my flight, I swiped my card! Later, I found out they charged me not 300 dollars, but 1000 lira! Absolutely no integrity or justification! This rental experience turned my vacation into a nightmare! I still often dream about being alone by the roadside changing a tire! Like a sheep on a chopping board, anyone could cut away a piece of my flesh! I have all the photos! I hope my experience helps others have a perfect vacation!

The store assistant mentioned that the fuel cost for petrol cars is high and suggested switching to a diesel car. However, it seems like I was charged an extra 2-3 euros per day, or maybe it was a toll fee. In total, I was charged 59 lira or euros at the store.

Rented a car three times in Turkey, and this company was the worst. Bad attitude and hard to communicate with. They gave me a smaller car claiming it was a larger one, felt cheated, never renting from them again. They charged me 10 euros in advance for toll fees, when it was actually only 3 euros. Other companies charge based on actual costs.
