Since the car I hired was fully booked, AVIS offered me a 7 seater car in order to fulfill my needs on carrying large luggages and number of small luggages.
The car was brand new with few hundreds km used.

The CS was quite helpful during my rental, there were instant reply for my sudden requests on cross border request and late return request.

Very efficient service, whether for picking up or returning the car. However, the return check was overly meticulous. I accepted even tiny scratches the size of a fingernail, but the repair cost for such a small scratch was over 200 euros! This is crazy. Thankfully, I bought full insurance.
The service this time was honestly unbelievable in a bad way. When picking up the car, they kept making things difficult and at one point basically refused to let me take the car. At night when I came back to return it and couldn’t find the drop-off spot, the staff on-site not only refused to help, they immediately started snapping at me with a horrible attitude. There was zero sense of customer service throughout the whole process.
On the other hand, QEEQ’s customer support really deserves praise. As soon as there was an issue, they stayed proactive, helped coordinate everything, even offered to switch me to another rental company and cover the price difference from the higher rate. They were efficient, friendly, and genuinely focused on solving the problem for the customer.
Alamo and Enterprise are the same group, and this experience made me completely blacklist them. If you have a choice, I’d strongly suggest avoiding them. My experiences with Avis, Budget, and Europcar have been much better.
The service attitude is great, and the car is in excellent condition. Even though it wasn’t the Mercedes-Benz I originally booked, the Hyundai equivalent was impressive as well!
