Happy motoring

Can was great, except as all electric cars - the range decreases faster than initially stated while driving which is a bit stressful, especially on the motorway.

Price drop worked great!

The location closed at 6 pm, which I was not told previously. The car had to be filled with gasoline but I took it to two gas stations which didn’t accept US credit cards, which I didn’t know. The car had to be left in one location and then the key taken to a hotel a 10 min walk away. But we had heavy luggage, so I had to take the luggage to the hotel key drop off, return the car, then return the key to the hotel. Very stressful when trying to catch a train at the train station outside of town.

We expected a compact car similar to a Ford Focus. a car that has an engine of 1.6-2.0 liter with at least 125 HP. The Opel Crossland X that we were given had a weaker 1.2 - liter Turbo engine with 110 HP. Although we told the Europcar clerk that we are heading for the French Alps, he decided on that weak car. It was no pleasure at all to hear the engine scream climbing the steep ascents in the Alps or trying to keep the car at 130 km/hour on the freeway. I am still waiting for the final charge on my credit card, to see if the deposit was released from it.
