Excellent car but staff services could be improved

About Europcar: 7.3 /10
The car was in an excellent condition and enjoyed the ride throughout our journey. However, the staff on duty for the pick up day arrived almost an hour later than the opening hours which is supposedly to be 8am. Also, the staff got quite annoyed when he was upselling additional insurance even I have mentioned it many times I have bought addtional coverage. This has overall delayed our journey out of London.

“DISASTEROUS!”

I booked a car, and after waiting for 3 hours at the pick up location (Edinburgh airport) I gave up and cancelled. There were 100 people waiting with two people on point (8 open desks!). Surely you knew what was going to happen??? What a shambles!

“An unexpected mistake on pick-up”
About Europcar: 8.8 /10
Like: Friendly and efficient staff; vehicle in good condition and excellent service on dropping off.
Dislike: I had ordered an automatic transmission vehicle but a manual transmission vehicle was allotted to me at pick-up. I came to know this until I got on the vehicle to check. It spent me another 30 minutes to wait for the change of vehicle and felt frustrated. I hope that Europcar would check the order carefully and the same thing would not happen to other customers again.
