Fabulous addition to our holiday in New England.

The car was great and incredibly fuel-efficient.

Not happy, they forced me to buy a $15 insurance which they claimed was mandatory. Also, the car probably wasn't fully fueled when given to me, but I forgot to check.

When returning the car, I followed the navigation to the location provided by the rental company, but the gate was locked. At 5:30 AM (already working hours), there was no one to ask for help and the provided phone number was not answered. After 15 minutes of anxious waiting, other people also came to this wrong location. Later, 3-4 cars searched around the road together and found a gate with a security guard labeled 'Avis'. The guard was very rude (probably not in a good mood early in the morning) and told me to just park inside. The yard was full of cars, and no one was there to collect the keys or inspect the car. When I asked again, he said to leave the keys in the car and just walk away. In a hurry because my flight was from a different terminal and I needed to take a shuttle train, I rushed off and almost missed my flight. This rental experience was extremely poor and almost caused me a lot of trouble...

Great service from Downtown Denver

I had booked for Ford Edge or equivalent. However when i went to the pick up point, neither Ford Edge was available nor equivalent. I had to escalate to Budget. However the Customer service at the pick point was good, she committed to give the car 4 hours later and call me at specific time. Fortunately she called exactly at the time and offered me Ford Explorer which was an upgrade to Ford Edge at no extra cost. Excellent service to make up for the initial failure.
