Smooth communication and excellent service attitude. We added Oman coverage insurance for 4 days on the spot. However, the rental company mentioned that even with insurance, if there is an incident in Oman, we are still responsible for transporting the car back to Dubai, which is a reasonable requirement. The rental company also passed a traffic speeding fine from Dubai to us, costing several hundred dirhams.

Thrifty is a local car rental company. The pickup location we went to was small with only one or two staff members, but there was almost no wait. When consulting with the staff about rental and fee issues, they were very patient in answering our questions. The car pickup process went very smoothly. When returning the car, our rented vehicle had no scratches and had not incurred any fines, but the staff checked the car very thoroughly. There was a very small dent on the door, which was probably caused by another car's door hitting it in the parking lot. However, since it was not very noticeable, the rental company did not charge any extra fees. Overall, the experience was quite good.

Waited a very long time during car return, no queue, just very slow and inefficient. Never choose Thrifty, never choose Thrifty! I've rented cars so many times, but this was the worst service ever. I had to wait a very long time to return the car, and during that entire time, no one informed us that we needed a parking ticket. Fortunately, we left the parking ticket in the car. However, during the return process, the staff deliberately lost the parking ticket and then asked us for a 180 dirham penalty fee as an excuse! We were pulled back to find the parking ticket just before airport security. We refused to pay the fine, confirming that the ticket was left in the car, and eventually, the parking staff easily found the entry time through the license plate and reprinted the ticket to resolve the issue. They just made excuses to charge a fine, which was outrageous! Moreover, the total parking time was less than an hour, so I don't understand how they calculated the 180 dirham penalty! This rental company is horrible! A disgusting car rental experience!

I try this company first and last time in my life they blocked heavy amount from my credit card No any damages I remember i made some 2 or 3 mistakes and I received different types of fines from THIRFTY OFFICAL EMAIL 4 days ago I returned the car they still are sending dummy email for fines Not sending any offical letter from UAE police Any evidence not proof on UAE Online system If i asked to Thirfty they asked we have already paid thats why not showing on system Half an hour ago I received email and daily checking UAE Online system their no any complaints Thats is the best way to earn money for this types of company So pls be careful
