The biggest problem was that we booked an automatic A3 car but ended up with a manual SUV Sportage. As you can imagine, it was a nightmare on narrow roads and steep hills. Additionally, they didn’t inform us at all and just pushed us hard to buy full insurance. We already purchased full insurance via the rental platform, which they didn’t recognize. They insisted we buy full insurance again for 130 euros including tax for three days, whereas in other countries, buying it is optional. Only after disputing for over an hour did the manager finally agree that it wasn't mandatory. They also didn’t tell us it was a manual car. We realized it once we got in the car and saw the manual gearbox, but by then, we were too tired to argue.

The staff were arrogant and rude, and there were hidden fees with forced insurance sales. After repeated negotiations with the rental company, their attitude softened somewhat, but we were still forced to buy additional insurance. This is the worst rental agency we've used through this platform. Just the international call fees to resolve our disputes cost me over 400, which was more expensive than the rental itself. One star because there's no option for zero.

All good no complaints

I had purchased excess insurance prior to travel, but had communication problems at the rental desk. Although I eventually realised that my credit card was scanned for insurance & fuel deposit only - I presumed I was being "charged" for these services. I was therefore reluctant to hand over my card. It would make sense to have this explained to me prior to travel or on an information sheet at the rental desk

Caution !! The booking price seems to be a good bargain but when you pick up the car, they force you to pay an insurance for 4 times the price of the rental !! (The commercial strategie is to tell you than if you don’t souscrive to their insurance they ll have to lock 1400€ for 1 month on your credit card...) my advise : find an other rental !
