In New York, there were dedicated staff to inspect the vehicle promptly during both pick-up and drop-off, including checking the fuel level. Nice!

AVIS's service has always been reliable. However, this time I got an older car, which was a bit disappointing.

Pickup and drop-off were very convenient

Picking up the car was convenient. They happily agreed to delay the pickup time after contacting them, and also extended the return time accordingly. Returning the car was fast and easy, with no pushy insurance sales tactics. The rental and billing explanations were clear. I rented a mid-sized car and got a free upgrade to a compact SUV, fortunately, as it had enough space for our luggage.
