The car was similar to the Chevrolet Tahoe that we booked. We were given a Jeep Wagoner instead. It was a very big and spacious vehicle for our road trip. The customer service was excellent and smooth on both pick up and drop off. The only issue was the charge for a tank of fuel was a lot more expensive than if we purchased our own fuel.

The booking platform was very easy to use to compare vehicles and rental companies. My booking was held using my credit card. However, I needed to cancel my credit card for a security issue. The booking was thankfully not cancelled as a result and I contacted customer services to make a payment via an alternative credit card. The customer service was excellent.

When picking up the car, they gave us a Mazda 5 in great condition, only driven for 6000 km. It was filled up with gas, and we just needed to return it with a full tank. Returning the car at the airport was convenient; we just handed back the keys and didn't need to go through an inspection. Of course, we were careful throughout the trip and didn't encounter any issues. We'll continue to choose car rentals for self-driving trips in the future!

Like: We were offered an upgrade to a 2018 Volstwagon Passat which had more leg room and trunk space than the booked car. We were very happy with the fuel efficiency, how the car drove and quality of the vehicle.
Dislike: We were under the assumption that Hertz would fill the tank for us at their discounted rate, however didn't know that they would charge us for a full tank regardless of how much fuel was in there.

Like: While reading many bad reviews I was super paranoid to rent through easyrentcars.com but I'm glad I did because I had a pleasant experience. They were also very cheap compared to the many other third parties. The car we rented was exactly how I expected it to be.
