Renting a car in Exmouth

The car was less than a year old, spotless when I picked it up, and it drove really smoothly.

The front desk staff was very friendly and explained the rental terms in detail. There was no need to wait in line when picking up the car.

We arrived on a late flight, and it was very convenient to handle the car pickup right after exiting. The staff was very professional and informed me that I had booked a relatively large seven-seater car. When I requested to switch to a smaller SUV, the staff recommended one for me and saved me around a hundred dollars. The only issue was due to my limited English skills, I had trouble communicating about buying insurance, but I resolved it using a translation app. Returning the car was also very simple. After receiving the keys and asking if the tank was full and if there were any damages, the staff told me to go ahead with my flight check-in. Overall, renting a car in Australia is convenient and quick!

Like: Car type as per stated, in tip top condition and low mileage. Highly recommended!

Like: Car was clean and rather new when received. Came with good and accurate GPS. Fuel consumption was reasonable. Car was comfortable with smooth engine. Good boot space to fit 3 large suitcases with additional space available still. Good reverse camera even at night. Car runs on petrol which is cheaper than diesel in Australia. Collection and return was very fast and the staff at Budget’s office was friendly.
Dislike: At collection at Budget’s office, I was asked to get coverage for road assistance even though insurance coverage was already purchased separately via EasyRentCars. Pls read through your purchase insurance before collection so you will not be confused and pay additional coverage which you already have. EasyRentCars insurance cover whilst cheaper, required upfront payment followed by reimbursement subsequently. For insurance cover by Budget, there is no payment required at the point of assistance. FYI.
