It's great to rent from a big company.

The car was visually clean but stank of dog which was very off-putting

I was given a golf instead of a suv- counter staff told me this was better but I couldn’t fit my suitcases in, and wanted an suv. They said they didn’t have any, then gave the lady behind me in the queue the car I had booked (mokka). A golf was equivalent size to a fiesta and I could’ve paid a lot less to hire an economy car. Really bad service.

Qeeq tried to resolve the issue the next day and managed to get budget to offer an exchange for the car originally booked. However I was by this time 600 miles away from the pick up location and not willing to go back, when it was their error. No refund in price difference has been offered.

The person on the counter was really great, he helped to get me the right car for our visit and was really friendly. I would definitely use Budget again :)

I am very happy with Easyrentcars.com the only frustrating thing is that I can't download the app because I am not based in the US.

The location given through Google maps showed the wrong side of the industrial estate in basingstoke. I had to phone to find out who I was hiring the car through as there was no indication that it was with avis.
