The choice to pick up the car at Melbourne's Southern Cross Station was very convenient.

I reserved a Kia Carnival, but initially didn't buy full insurance. The short blonde woman who assisted me had a bad attitude throughout the process. They gave me a huge Staria, which I later found to be too large, so I decided to purchase full insurance. The vehicle is very large and consumes a lot of fuel, but that's not the main issue. Being a front-wheel drive and not a 4WD, it's very heavy, and struggled to go uphill on gravel roads in Australia. It was very dangerous and slid back several times. On three occasions it got stuck, and we spent a lot of time pushing it out. Overall, the experience was not very good.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They were not very familiar with QEEQ's full insurance at first and had some questions. After I explained that I had already purchased full insurance in China, everything was sorted out quickly. Returning the car was also very easy; after confirming that we had refueled, the process was complete. I am very satisfied with AVIS's service.
