The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service, accompanying guests to the underground parking lot to pick up the car.

Good communication

The car promised by the rental company was a Mercedes, but a different brand was provided instead. It had poorer power and comfort. Knowing that the requested model was unavailable but not informing the customer feels deceptive.

I was inexplicably overcharged and am currently coordinating through the rental company. Thieves are rampant in the Barcelona subway; I encountered two groups of thieves within five minutes, which was terrifying.

When we received our paperwork from easyrent it stated that we could collect the vehicle at either the Hertz or Thrifty desk in Palma airport. When iI approached the Thrifty desk the operative Rita advised that I couldnt collect it here (despite wearing Hertz labelled clothing). I showed her the paper work that clearly said that the vehicle could be collected at either Hertz OR Thrifty, be she insisted that because there was a Hertz image on the paper work that the vehicle could only be colelcted at the Hertz desk. This continued for ten minutes of so and she eventually relented but told me in no uncertain terms that they wouldnt normally do this and that they were doing us a favour. I dont know if the paper work or the operative was wrong, either way it added undue stress to the process.
