The service was acceptable and the staff were friendly, but their English was not very fluent. The on-site deposit is 1000 MYR, and it's best to have cash on hand to buy a Touch 'n Go card for highway tolls and some parking fees. You can purchase the card with cash at the rental site, but only cash is accepted!
The staff at the rental place were super helpful and friendly. They patiently explained how the Malaysian highways work with the EasyGo toll card, and the best part was they even lent me an EasyGo card for free. That really saved me a lot of hassle on the rest of my road trip.
Very good! T1 car rental company is the only one with a guest lounge where you can sit in air conditioning while waiting for paperwork to be processed. I arrived at T1 but mistakenly set my pickup location to T2. The staff at T1 directly handled it for me and even upgraded me to a Mitsubishi Outlander. Both pickup and drop-off went smoothly.
