When I checked in I told the Hertz rep I would be a bit late dropping off the car and did I need to change the booking by 30 minutes. He said no, it was no problem and I didn't need to update the booking. My reservation ended at 1 pm and as indicated, I dropped the car at 1:25 pm. But when they emailed my receipt, they charged me $40 USD for one extra hour! Almost the same price as I paid for a whole day. Very dishonest given I asked in advance and could have amended the booking for a lower cost.

Booking platform was not easy. For a trip of 16 days I had to make 2 bookings, 1 for 4 days and 1 for 12 days for the same car (group) for a continuous 16 days.
Hopeless!
The car was amazing. They gave us a choice of many different cars and we were able to choose one that was much nicer than what we expected. Everything went really well.
