A good service despite the wait at collection in malaga airport

Record Go's location is outside the airport. After landing, you take a shuttle to their office for pick-up and drop-off. A deposit of €1200 is required, but if you don't want to pay this amount, you can opt for additional insurance costing around €80. Additionally, you need to pay approximately €80 for fuel upfront during pick-up, which will be refunded if the car is returned with a full tank. It's been two days since I returned the car, but the deposit and fuel refund have not been processed yet. I was informed that the standard processing time is seven days, with a maximum of thirty days.

Overall service was quite good, and the car's condition was decent. However, Barcelona is more suitable for smaller cars, this one was a bit wide, especially for turning in parking garages. The deposit from this rental company is extremely high, up to 1200 euros. The staff will recommend buying full insurance for 92 euros to avoid the deposit, but if you refuse, they won't push it. This full insurance seems to be a standard price because later in Tenerife, I rented directly from Hertz and full insurance was also nearly 90 euros. Additionally, there's a 108-euro deposit for a full tank of gas, which must be charged to the registered driver's credit card and cannot be paid in cash. At that time, my credit card reached its limit, so I had to buy the full insurance. Adding the full insurance purchased on QEEQ, I ended up buying insurance twice.

Rude customer service lady, not telling the small print either. No carpet in the car, got charged €95 for leaving some sand in the car... apparently that needs special cleaning!! Never book with these guys again...

Unfortunately, very bad experience! The company didn't ask me with full fuel policy I would like to go. They put me in full/empty fuel policy, it means a clearly a ruse that benefits the renatal company. I payed 123.38£ fuel deposit and and they give me back only 78.48£ eaven if returned the tank full. What happened with the 45£? It is the cost of the policy full/empty ! It was ridiculos. Please, try to avoid this company or ask for a full/full fuel deposit.

The car rental company wint to great lengths to upgrade and to charge us extra for everything. We spent in excess of 2 hours waiting for the car and then another hour trying to find the pickup location. The cost of the rental was very cheap but the car rental company never expected to let us rent the auto at that price.
