Good overall experience

Neither good nor bad, just so-so. Waited for 30 minutes, spent another 30 minutes discussing the car model, took 1 hour to rent the car.

The pickup queue was too slow, waited for two hours. The order should have been 74.5 EUR at the rental company, but they charged me 120 EUR.

Maggiore's pick-up point at Malpensa T1 is very convenient. Take the elevator down from gate 5 on the arrivals level and follow the car hire signs. All car rental companies are located there. Once the paperwork is done, you can directly go to parking lot B without leaving the building to get your car.

The staff was enthusiastic and patient. Our English was not very good, and they spoke in a very Italian way. But they were very patient and even wrote things down for us. The Milan airport return station is staffed 24 hours, unlike Hertz, which was closed when we went there early at 6 AM.

Booking, car, drop off all very good. Staff at Maggiore counter trying hard but understaffed, failing systems and lost paper work resulted in a wait of nearly an hour before we got the keys. Then they were clearly under instruction to sell insurance extras, which annoyed customers and caused even longer delays.
