Overall satisfied. The car was relatively new with just over 6,000 miles, equipped with good driver-assistance features and CarPlay. When picking up the car, the staff noticed a marijuana smell inside and provided a written proof. The smell got worse after being exposed to sunlight the following day, almost making me consider changing the car. Fortunately, the smell faded after three or four days.

As expected from a major company, the service was excellent, the store was large, and they had many car models. Both renting and returning the car were very quick.

Hertz is a big company with many locations and cars, and the cars are very new. The Los Angeles airport branch is very close to the airport, making pick-up and drop-off very convenient. Our flight was delayed by several hours, and we were worried they wouldn’t hold our reserved car. We arrived at 2 AM, and the staff was very accommodating, and we got the model we reserved. We rented a GMC YUKON XL because we had 4 adults and 2 kids. The car was new, in great condition, and very comfortable for the 5600+ kilometers we drove. The price was reasonable, just over 10,000 RMB for 17 days, and fuel cost was lower than expected, only 400 USD. We will use QEEQ again and will choose Hertz first.
