We were renting a car to go skiing, so we proactively asked for snow tires just in case. After some bargaining, the price dropped from €70 a day to €36 a day. The full deposit was refunded two days after we returned the car.

Pickup and return were very convenient. I purchased full insurance, so there were no worries when returning the car—just left the keys and walked away. However, the hybrid CX60 was extremely hard to drive without electricity. Also, the left front tire was underinflated when picking up the car, and I couldn't locate the puncture on-site. The store staff fully inflated it, and I drove off. Two days later, the pressure dropped to 1 bar, and I quickly found a roadside repair shop. Turns out, there was a nail in the tire from the start. I had to pay 30 euros for the tire repair myself.

Upgraded to a 308 GT when renting the car, which had less than 10,000 kilometers on it and was in great condition. For peace of mind, I purchased full insurance from the rental company. Returning the car was quick and hassle-free with no unexpected charges.

Except for not getting the desired model, everything else was fine. During the car pickup, they just asked if I wanted insurance, and after I said no, they didn't push any further. Charging electric cars in Europe was easier than expected, but electricity costs in Italy are higher than in Switzerland, France, and Germany.
