Overall satisfied, but you need to be discerning. It's an Indian-operated store that promotes additional insurance—just decline if you're not interested, and their attitude will remain professional. Here's an interesting detail: we initially booked a small SUV, but when the staff saw we had 3 pieces of luggage, they said the car we booked could only fit 2 pieces and asked us to pay an extra £30 per day. When I refused, they eventually said 'never mind' and upgraded us to a bigger model for free, likely because they didn't have the car we originally booked. In the end, we were quite happy—the rental and return process was quick and convenient. The shuttle bus to the pick-up location takes about 15-20 minutes.

The sales agent used an excuse to offer an upgrade during pickup, but the upgraded car was priced more than double the market price for similar vehicles. The next day, at another branch of the same company in a different city, we requested to switch back to the original model. The staff said the switch was possible but the extra charges would not be refunded.

I booked a Volkswagen Tiguan but received a plug-in hybrid Suzuki Across. The car had only 2000 miles on it and was quite new. The space was decent, but the small battery made it impractical for charging at public stations, so I had to drive it on fuel only, which was noisy but seemed fuel-efficient. During pickup, there were 4-5 upsell attempts, but the staff awkwardly explained that they had to ask the customers due to system prompts, which I understood. I despise Europcar's system for this.

The store at the airport is quite large with many staff. Although it's a bit far from Heathrow T4, there is a free shuttle service available.
