The car we picked up at the airport was not the Japanese model we reserved, and the condition was average. After being rear-ended at Lake Tahoe, the accident handling was quick, and we were given a newer VW TaoSUV in good condition, which was perfect for driving on Tahoe’s mountain roads. Convenient eToll service for tolls was also provided at a reasonable cost.

I compared for a long time before choosing Avis, attracted by the international brand. They didn't disappoint us. The San Francisco airport has a light rail directly to the car rental center with all major rental companies. The big companies have queues, but the speed was acceptable.
