Very efficient pick up in Deer Lake

The service was pretty good, but the wait was long, showcasing the laid-back lifestyle in Canada. There were only a couple of people in line, but it took ages, and later I had to wait a long time to get the car too. Surprisingly, the car was parked at a different location. However, the car itself was good to use. It had some minor scratches but was easy to drive. Slightly high fuel consumption, but acceptable. Returning the car was extremely difficult; I drove around for half an hour before finding the spot. A tip for anyone reading this: do not rely on navigation when returning the car, follow the road signs instead. This was what a female police officer advised me after my numerous failed attempts. Everything else was good, and I recommend this service.

Very satisfied

AVIS is excellent. Both my husband and I drove, and there were no extra charges. However, the previous rental company, ALAMO, charged CAD 10 per day for adding a second driver. At AVIS, the car model we booked was not available, but they found us a much newer 8-seater 6.0L GMC within an hour. It was much better than what we originally reserved, and they didn't charge extra. Very trustworthy!
