They said they would refund my deposit within 5 days, but not only did they not refund it, I was inexplicably charged 100 pounds in two installments—first 65 pounds and then 35 pounds today. They didn't even tell me why or what fines these were for.

Picking up the car went smoothly, and they even upgraded me to a Mercedes C180 series, which was fun to drive. However, to be on the safe side, I upgraded the insurance to cover 100% damage, which cost an extra £30 per day. This is quite expensive, and I'm not sure if it's because of the car model. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

Yes, the car was spacious. There were no queue. The staff waited outside the rental office to greet me as U got off the shuttle bus. Everything was processed very efficiently. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful at Alamo for both pick up and drop off.
