The process of picking up and returning the car was very smooth. The car was in good condition with over 20,000 kilometers on it, and it handled well. Unfortunately, the GPS rented from Hertz had a faulty power connection, causing it to repeatedly lose power unless the angle was constantly adjusted. Later, in Bairnsdale, although there was no GPS available, they helped confirm it was defective and suggested seeking help in Canberra.
