Roanoke Airport is small, and there was only one staff member at the car rental company, but the efficiency was good. Since I bought full insurance from QEEQ, there was no upselling. I completed the rental procedures, received the car key, and went directly to the parking lot to pick up the car. No one checked the rental form or my driver's license, I just drove off.

One of the worst car rental experiences in the US. The service attitude is truly unpredictable! They forced me to upgrade the vehicle and required me to purchase additional insurance. And upgrading the vehicle requires extra payment!

Arrived at 12:30 AM, waited an hour in line to complete the paperwork. When it was finally my turn, the staff went to check the vehicle for 15 minutes. When they returned, they asked me to pay. Luckily, I asked what the charge was for, because my English isn't great and I didn't understand right away. I then remembered someone mentioning a mandatory insurance fee. It turned out to be true, but I declined. The staff wasn't happy. When I went to pick up the car, the parking spot was poorly marked and I had trouble finding any staff to help. When I finally found someone, I almost drove off in the car before noticing it was damaged—the front headlights were broken! I had booked an SUV, but was told this was the only one left. The staff was polite but had no other car options. After searching for an hour, I settled for a sedan, which had a big scratch on the back—thankfully, I noticed it, otherwise I couldn't have explained it later. In the end, we could only fit four people with luggage in the back seat. Fortunately, we were only four people, or we would've had to wait even longer. They refunded $80. We finally left at 3 AM, which really spoiled our initial mood upon arriving in the US.
