Great experience, would use again

The car was a bit old and poorly maintained. The car key was dead when I picked up the car, but the car was in motion when I got it. I didn't realize it until I stopped after an hour's drive, so I had to use the mechanical key for the next 10 days. On the third day, there was a tire pressure warning. I nervously found the nearest Budget store in a town nearby, but they said they wouldn't take care of a car not rented from them. I had to go to a repair shop myself, and fortunately, it just needed air and not a tire repair. The mechanic said the tire hadn't been inflated for a long time. The vehicle maintenance was terrible.

This car rental company is quite good. On April 11th at 5:30 AM, we returned the car at Sydney Airport. We were supposed to return it at the international terminal, but we returned it at the domestic terminal instead. The staff were very considerate and drove us to the international terminal. Car condition was good. No issues encountered throughout trip. Just that the queue was quite long during pick up.

All good and an easy process. Expected a Mitsubishi ASX and received a Nissan Qashqui. Loved the car. There was a small mark on the door when we picked up the car, but the guys said very minor issues are not a problem. This put our minds at rest. There was a bit of a push to buy additional cover (which was unnecessary). We were going to the Great Ocean Road for 2 days then skiing for 3. Snow cover would have to be paid for the full tenure of the hire, not just for the days needed. So we didn't take it. This would be improved to cover only the needed for the time and we may have purchased it.
