I booked an SUV, but got a Skoda instead. They said there were no SUVs left in the same category... Okay, I accepted it. On my way, the parked car was hit by a blue Golf, which was entirely the other party's fault. When I returned the car, I filled out the necessary forms. They said it would take about three days to confirm the responsibility with the other party's insurance company and send me an email, but there was no follow-up... Then I discovered that my credit card was charged £422 for all the car damages... Zuzu Car said they would contact the rental company, but there was no response. Finally, I had to email Avis myself, and they replied saying the investigation was still ongoing... There's no telling when the money will be refunded...

Had to wait about 30 minutes after registration to get the car, which is quite inefficient. Also, the fuel tank was only ¼ full at pickup, making it tricky to estimate the fuel needed when returning the car.

Amazing service plane was diverted so delayed on arrival by 3 hrs outside of office hrs I rang the counter guy and he said he would wait past his finish time so we did not have to return the nxt day. He waited till 6.30 and he should have finished at 6. Wow.

Avis charged £400 for small superficial scratch on the car which was complete rip off and exploitation of insurance excess. I did not accept that amount and going to challenge it.
