Good overall, would use gold car again. Have in the past with no issues too.

The company enforced the purchase of full insurance, which I didn't appreciate. It was my first time renting an electric car, and charging it was very inconvenient—sometimes it took several hours to fully charge. Goldcar's customer service was poor. They mentioned free parking for electric cars but only stated that it applied to blue zones when asked, without explaining that you need to display a receipt on the windshield. As a result, I received a fine. I wanted to pay the fine myself, but the rental company charged a €50 management fee first and then told me to handle the payment on my own. Additionally, I accidentally drove into another country for two hours and was charged €105 without prior warning from the rental company. They did not inform me in advance that crossing into other European countries would incur a fee. Rules are strictly enforced abroad, and accidental mistakes are not accommodated.

It should be one of the larger car rental companies in Spain, as there were a lot of people in line. The other rental companies didn't have many people queued up, probably because of the competitive prices!

We had to pay additional charges for refuelling even though we returned the car with a full tank. They claimed a small chip in the windscreen had to be paid for (400€) despite their rental agreement saying chips of under 20mm did not incur a charge.

Des voleurs ! Attention à bien faire l'état des lieux au départ et à la restitution (ils rechignent à le faire)... Résultat : ils facturent des frais de carrosserie conséquents. Aujourd'hui, je leur demande d'envoyer les photos correspondant au sinistre... Ils m'envoient les photos du pare-choc arrière alors qu'ils me facturent la portière arrière droite (qui était intacte !). Bref, il vaut mieux payer un peu plus cher avec des gens honnêtes. Un conseil, fuyez Goldcar !

I would not book with Goldcar again. They tried to sell extras on a hard way with telling lies. Take total care on what you sign. Don't trust on what they tell you at the counter! Check everything double. Check the car carefully, even the door lock by key!

No problems, good booking process.
