CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON HERTZ AT ZURICH AIRPORT, ZRH

The location is easy to find, the staff are very efficient, and most importantly, there was absolutely no upselling or additional charges.

The waiting time during peak hours is a bit long, and there is only one staff member at the regular counter, so you need to allocate about an hour for the process. However, the overall procedure is quite quick, with both the rental and return contracts sent directly via email. The staff mentioned that if you notice any issues with the car during pickup, take photos to record them and report back during the return process. The whole service is fairly professional. The car provided was very new and well-equipped. I rented a compact automatic car, and they gave me a Toyota CHR hatchback with a hybrid system. The trunk space was large enough to fit two 24-inch suitcases without any problem. Very good experience!

Really good experience – they gave us a brand‑new car and even offered an upgrade to a bigger one. The location was easy to find too.

Really happy with this rental experience.

Great service.

Big, reliable company.

Fuel consumption at 5.6 liters, one tank lasted through Friedrich, Bern, and Geneva.

Everything went smoothly and the car was in great condition.

My connecting flight was delayed and I arrived over 3 hours past my scheduled pickup time, but they still let me take the car without extra charges or canceling the booking. The staff were really friendly, and they even changed my drop-off location for free when I picked up the car. Overall, it was a really good experience.

It's okay.

Extremely satisfied! It was my first time renting a car abroad, and the overall experience was fantastic. The service was attentive, the process simple, and the car was in excellent condition. The store even upgraded the vehicle model!

Really smooth car rental experience overall.

Super satisfied with the whole experience.

The attitude of the female receptionist was average, but everything else was fine.

Really impressed with Hertz this time. They didn’t push any extra insurance at all, so the whole pickup process was super relaxed. Thanks for the great service! They even upgraded me for free to a brand‑new 2026 Mercedes Vito, latest model. Drives amazingly, tons of space in the trunk and really strong power.

Very satisfied, the car is in great condition and very easy to drive.

Absolutely flawless

The service was excellent. The originally booked BMW 5 Series broke down, and they initially offered me a BMW 3 Series. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, they upgraded me to a Lexus RX450 SUV with only 1,880 kilometers driven.
