Absolutely great service

The service was okay. However, they required a €3000 pre-authorization without full insurance. A bit too much.

The AVIS desk at Orly Airport was quite frustrating. The lady at the front desk didn’t want to handle my request and told me to go to the pick-up point to find someone else to assist me. However, the young black man at the pick-up point provided excellent service. I guess the staff attitudes are inconsistent. Compared to my experience in Nice, this was fairly standard, probably because I chose a lower category car. Anyway, I requested a hybrid Toyota Auris, which was quite nice and highly recommended for city use.

The staff member was very friendly.

Pretty good overall. We picked up the car inside the airport and asked about the insurance. They suggested buying the rental company's insurance, but we told them we had already purchased it through the platform, so they didn't push further.

It was great. Since we were a group of five, we booked a large car. The Volvo we reserved wasn’t available, so we got a Peugeot 408 sport model instead. It worked out fine as it was also a new car. Be sure to read more tips and experiences in the review section. Before departure, follow Avis's email to register your personal and credit card details. When you reach the pickup point, you can verify your passport and get the keys without any hassle. The process was incredibly smooth.

Large rental company with established standards.

Excellent véhicule, intérieur très propre, quelques taches sur la carrosserie mais rien de méchant. Mention moyenne pour le personnel à guichet, plus directif qu’aimable forçant la main sur des services d’assurance inutiles car déjà pris en amont. Personnel à la livraison du véhicule sympathique et efficace. Idem pour la restitution.
