This is the second time renting from this company. They provided an Italian local brand, Lancia. Although it's a small car, it performs excellently on the narrow roads of many small towns in Italy. With a 1.0-liter engine and electric assistance, fuel consumption is extremely low, and the space is sufficient for two people. I purchased full insurance directly from the car rental agency for peace of mind. The staff assured me that even if the car is damaged extensively, there's no need to pay. During drop-off, they didn't even inspect the car.

Overall service was excellent. Adding an extra driver's license costs 10 euros per day, and an international driving permit translation is required.

The car rental experience with Sicily by Car was very good. The new car only had 800 kilometers on it. The counter service was good; there was no aggressive upselling of insurance. The return process was quick and convenient. The driving performance of the SEAT SUN was excellent, especially on the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast. The smart features were comparable to those of domestic electric cars.

Overall okay, this is one of the larger rental companies and is quite easy to find if not for the return instructions from QEEQ. The issue is they never answer the phone, and you have to figure everything out on your own.

The entire pickup process was appalling. The ticketing system in place doesn't work (people push, miss their numbers and return later) and we had to wait for well over 2 hours past our pick up time. One of the staff members was also quite rude (although the lady who eventually served us was fine). Each customer took so long to deal with - they really need to modify the collection process.
