Like: Not much to tell actually, all went smoothly and well. I have not had a hire car in 15 years so i was not sure what to expect ... well I did expect some complications but there were none. The Avis operator behind the counter was experienced and knew what he did ... a rare occurrence these days!
Dislike: Could not really think of anything...

Since I frequently travel to Australia, and this year alone I've been there three times, I still recommend Hertz. The downside of AVIS is that the full insurance has to be purchased through QEEQ, and if there's an accident, you have to pay upfront and get reimbursed after returning to the country. This is a disadvantage compared to Hertz, where their full insurance allows you to not worry about anything.

Dropping off the car at 30 Pitt St in Sydney was stressful. It would have helped if there were photos provided showing exactly where the car should have been parked on return. I parked illegally initially to speak with Avis staff for advice before being directed to the proper drop off spot. Also, 30 Pitt St shows on Google Maps as a hotel. Again, a photo or map showing where the Avis is located in relation to the hotel would have helped.
