Ridiculous asking for proof of address and payslip without notice

Tried calling 3 times for pick up at airport, each time no answer. I had to rent a car from a different agency after pre-paying Easirent.

Ended up having to fork out an additional £92 when we had only paid £52 for the rental as wouldn't accept the credit card as a deposit, although more than happy to accept the same card for more money!! Tried lying about a clearly rusty scratch which was on the car ehen we picked it up. Luckily we had taken photos before we drove away with it. My cousin also picked up a car at the same time as us and had nothing but problems. They also attempted to accuse her of causing damage which was already there. Absolute cowboys. Wish I had read reviews before I booked

Awful experience with Easirent. They ask you to wait at Zone 14 in Dublin airport which is a bus stop. The airport staff told us they did not have a licence to be picking up from the airport and that the driver would be arrested on arrival. Took over an hour for the driver to arrive. The desk staff were very rude and the vehicle was covered in dents and scratches. They tried to force us into taking their insurance even though we had already insured via EasyRentCars.com. Awful experience. Do not use EasiRent DUBLIN AIRPORT.

Like: Excellent car condition, friendly staff, clear instructions, especially returning staff very friendly
Dislike: Easirent should hold fuel deposit as charging to credit card incurred exchange rate loss for customer
