Overall, it was okay. When picking up the car, I presented the translation document provided by Zuzuche and my original Chinese driver's license. The staff at East Coast's branch said my license had expired because under the validity section on the original license, it stated '2022/9/1 to Long-term.' They only saw '2022/9/1' and said my license had expired. I explained that the Chinese text after that means 'long term,' and the Zuzuche translation document stated: 'Valid Until: Permanent. This document is long-term valid.' The staff said that it was not acceptable and insisted, pointing to the original document, that I prove my license hadn't expired. I suggested we use Google Translate. Using Google visual translation, it directly translated to 'long term,' and then they handed me the car. I'd like to know if this issue lies with Zuzuche or the branch. Please provide an official response.

Easy pickup, great car condition, smooth return

Everything else was fine, but when changing the car, the gas tank wasn't full and we were charged extra for gas, which was quite expensive.

Very good. We didn't buy insurance, and the staff just took a quick look at the car when we returned it. We were worried there would be a strict inspection without insurance, but it was totally unnecessary to worry. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient, even though it's not inside the airport, there are shuttles, and it's close to the airport. Very convenient.

I didn't get the car at all!!! The flight arrived on time, called the store in advance, informed them that I was out of customs and waiting for my luggage, and asked if they could wait for me a bit. They said no! They close at 10 PM sharp! If the store is closed, come to pick up the car tomorrow! I rushed to get my luggage and out of the airport, took a taxi straight to the rental store fearing delays, and the store was already closed! I had to take a taxi to the hotel, costing me 104 AUD! Took a taxi to the airport store the next morning, only to be told no cars were available for the next few days. Spent another 98 AUD on taxi fares, and in the end, I couldn't rent a car! I strongly advise against renting from this company—they're not reliable, the location is far from the airport, and both picking up and returning the car is inconvenient. Also, the deposit for the car booking hasn't been refunded! This was a truly terrible rental experience! It's not the booking platform's fault; the rental company has serious issues!
