Simple straight forward process for booking and clean reliable cars. Will be using Alamo again.

Renting the car was quite convenient.

There were many people in line, but the service was still very good, and the car selection areas were clearly divided.

The Los Angeles airport branch is generally acceptable. Be prepared to use a Japanese car as a replacement if the Grand Cherokee is frequently unavailable.

Very poor experience. We had to wait an hour at the airport for the rental company's shuttle bus, while Herz's shuttle buses came by at least ten times. Once we got to the rental hall, we had to wait another hour and a half in line before it was our turn to complete the paperwork. We had booked a Jeep Grand Cherokee or similar, but the best they had at the lot was a Ford Edge, and there was only one of those left. Most of the available cars were Jeep Compasses. In the end, we ended up with a Nissan Rogue. This was an absolutely awful car rental experience!
