Courteous staff, car in decent condition if a little worn. Returned without any hassle. Would recommend to others.

Easy to use and found a good deal. Important to be very clear on the conditions around purchasing insurance though, as this did lead to a longer pick up process than expected.

We could not process the €1,100 deposit on any of our credit cards- so forced to buy the €300 premium insurance. After car hire finished we were sent a bill for €106 for cleaning fee and let delivery.... this was NOT communicated to us before we took the car hire. So for a $200 car hire we have now payed in total $800 !!!! This is ridiculous. And something we simply cannot afford. We will be contacting our credit card company to dispute the final charge. I waited for 2 hours in a line up and they proceeded to charge me 200 Euros for being 2 hours late for a pick up. I had already paid for the entire day and they still charged me. This happened to a lot of people in the line. Everyone was very upset. This company offers cheap prices online but steals and lies to you when you're at the counter. EasyRentCars is a great website however dealing with Goldcar will tarnish your reputation. Goldcar is the worst company and customer service I have every dealt with in over 35 years of travel.

Impossible de récupérer la voiture avant l'horaire indiqué, nous avons attendus 2h30 à l'aéroport, Gold Car voulait nous faire payer une assurance à 14€/ jour x 14 jours pour pouvoir la récupérer avant! - Nous devions récupérer la voiture à 17h30, nous ne l'avons eu qu'à 18h20! Personnel désagréable que ce soit avec nous ou même avec les autres clients! Une file d'attente incroyable! BREF, service 0

I have booked a car in Toulouse for 5 days at a good rate of 93€. When I arrived to pick up my car the staff was very pushing and very demanding to add on top of this price an insurance fees of 137€ to cover all risk... + 50€ to get out of the border + 8€/day to be upgraded etc.... I said that I was not interested so the agent sounded upset and became not very friendly ! He demanded me to sign several papers to says that in case of any problems (even not responsible) I would be charge a lot of money + they withdrawn from my account 1215€ as caution!!!! The pressure was very hard and on top of that when I took the car the front tyres were totally worn out... The hostess could change the car since she had no other keys!!! I sent the pictures of the car and the tyres the next day morning and requested the full insurance because of the risk to drive such car, but I was answer that it was not possible and they only propose to change the car.... But that meant to do 250kms more for me !!! So I drove very carefully and I canceled several destinations ion the maintain because of the technical and finacial risks. I have booked a lot of cars in my life (I am 55yo) and it is the first time I am so stress and unhappy.
