Poor service

It took us over 2 hours to pick up the vehicle. Their location was far from what I expected. Service was poor. Staff was screaming when directing customer the instructions.

“Wasn't worth it for me.”

The car had many marks, tape residue on several doors, scratches etc which the guy going with me said did not matter. I took pictures of it all including a popped out piece of plastic on the front side which meant the car had been in an accident (This comes back into play later). The interior was fair but it had sticky places which I needed to clean. When returning the car another piece had popped a bit and they said the car had been hit. I filled out an accident report and stated no accident and that the car was already banged up when I picked it up. Waiting to see if they follow up on this or let it go. I also informed them that the brake peddle was hitting bottom sometimes on my last day driving and that they may be failing. I hope they to look into it. Lastly, the day after I returned the car I started receiving calls saying that the car had not been returned and it was going to be reported stolen. I had to make several calls to get the whole thing sorted (To be accused of theft, crazy).

“Pickup terrible, would not accept my credit card and wanted to charge me an extra $400!!”

Car was very basic (no central licking, windy windows etc). Counter staff at pickup very rude and said my credit card had expired, card actually expires at end of the month. This was not explained in any paperwork or at the time of booking. Tried to charge extra $400 so I could use my debit card. Eventually had to pay $1800 deposit on my works credit card. Another couple in the pickup location were having a similar problem and were also being charged lots of extra for their booking. Very dissatisfied with the customer service. In contrast the drop off could not have been easier!

I was very disappointed. I had booked this car specifically because it said I was going to get a Mercedes. When I showed up they told me I was getting a Chrysler. This was for a special occasion and was supposed to be a surprise. When I asked if there was a Mercedes available the person at the counter told me they were all out that day. I later found out that the company doesn’t even carry Mercedes but they use that to bait and switch and promise a Mercedes or something similar. To me this was very deceitful. It also took a very long time to actually get the car almost 2 hours from the time we got in line. There were only two other people ahead of us but the service was extremely slow. Once we actually got the car it was dirty and had to wait again for them to clean
