When we arrived at the store, they tried to upsell us insurance, claiming it would cover any scratches. Considering the good road conditions, we decided not to buy it. At return, they said everything was fine, but later we received a damage report for a scratch that was already there when we picked up the car. We mentioned it to them at pickup, but they dismissively told us to just take photos ourselves. They did not inspect the car at return, and only later claimed there was a scratch. It seems that if previous renters had bought the insurance, those scratches would have been ignored, but if future renters don’t buy it, they end up being held responsible. The car rental company has no record of scratches and relies entirely on renters to document them. It’s essential to document any issues, but the car rental company's honesty and factual reporting are crucial.

The iOS app is good. It could be improved by being able to save favourite companies so you don’t have to manually select them every time a search is done. The website is not as good as it used to be. Annoying you can’t list cars by order of price.

The car rental experience with this company was very disappointing. I had booked two Volvo S60s, but neither was available, and we were given Volkswagens instead, which had smaller trunks. Since they were considered similar models, there was nothing we could say. As for the other car, we reserved a 7-seater Ford but got a 5-seater Ford instead, and the company insisted it was a similar model and refused to refund the difference. Additionally, they overcharged us for two additional driver fees, promised a refund within 7 days, but it never arrived. Eventually, the platform provided the refund for us. Due to an operational issue, we failed to pay the parking fee, and both cars received identical parking fines at the same time and place. The rental company sent us one fine a month later but deducted a £55 management fee for the other car without specifying the fee or notifying us via email. After constant follow-ups, they finally forwarded the identical fine to us the following month. With such poor service and inefficiency, I will never rent from this company again. Please choose your rental company carefully.

The other car booked was a Ford 7-seater, but we got a 5-seater and they wouldn't refund the difference, claiming it was the same class. Additionally, they charged us extra for two additional drivers and promised a refund in seven days, but we never received it until the rental platform proactively refunded us. Due to some operational error, we failed to pay the parking fees, and both cars received penalties at the same place and time. The company only sent us the fine for one car a month later, but deducted a £55 management fee without explanation for the second car. After much follow-up, we received the other fine a month later. The service attitude and efficiency were really disappointing. I will never use this rental company again, and I advise others to be cautious when choosing car rentals.
