It was our first time renting from Alamo. The process was quick, we didn't have to wait in line. The staff was very professional and friendly. We crossed borders into Bosnia, Serbia, and Montenegro over 22 days. The rental company charged us a 50 Euro border fee. We met other travelers who were charged 60 Euros for crossing just one border. Alamo seems more reasonable. Towards the end, we scratched the car door at a guesthouse. It was a big scratch but didn't need bodywork, just paint. We talked to the staff about insurance, but they said it was fine, no need to worry about it.

Excellent experience for my first car rental. They even upgraded the vehicle for free with no upselling or hidden costs. The process of exchanging the car was straightforward without any unnecessary hassle. Highly recommend this company.
