Very satisfied

We booked three Volkswagen Golf station wagons. The customer service said there were only two available and kindly upgraded one for free, clearly explaining that there was no extra charge. However, they didn't inform us what the third car was, nor that it was downgraded. It was a small Skoda Fabia! Moreover, the VW and Skoda cars were in different locations. We had to pick up the VW cars ourselves without staff assistance; whereas for the Skoda, the staff handed the keys to my friend and accompanied them to pick up the car. I didn't even see the keys. My friend, who doesn't speak English and is a bit naive, didn't inform me about the Skoda. After seeing the cars together, I felt a bit angry. So, make sure to check what car you are given when picking up!

I booked through an agent but picked up the car at Europcar. Although I specified in advance that I needed a 7-seater, it seemed like there was poor communication between the service provider and Europcar. When I arrived, they only had a 5-seater available, and I had to pay extra to upgrade to the only 7-seater, a brand-new Multivan. The staff at the store were chatting away, probably because it was close to Christmas, and they didn't attend to us while we were waiting.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the car we booked online was unavailable. We had to pay extra for a higher-end vehicle and were repeatedly offered more expensive cars.
