The agent misled us into purchasing E-Zpass for $350, but it wasn't activated and couldn't be used. We had to pay tolls out of our own pocket throughout the trip. It might have been an oversight that E-Zpass wasn't activated, but I explicitly said it was too expensive and unnecessary when renting the car. The agent falsely claimed that many places don’t accept cash, but during our two-week trip, there was only one such toll station. Considering the toll costs, $350 is unreasonable. Moreover, not having E-Zpass activated meant we couldn't enjoy the convenience of automatic toll payments, yet we were still charged $350, which is completely incomprehensible and unacceptable.
