Professional and efficient.

The attitude was good, it was the model I booked, just over 20,000 kilometers. Supplementary full insurance was purchased from QEEQ at ¥201/day, while at the Hertz counter, it costs AUD 32/day, still more appropriate to buy at the counter. Toll fees were charged to the credit card after returning the car, with Hertz charging a service fee. Added a second driver when picking up the car, costing AUD 5/day, and the second driver’s credit card could be used for deposit and payment.

Fairly easy to find, the car was very new with only seven thousand kilometers on it. The paperwork was processed quickly. Adding an additional driver cost $5 per day. Later, due to a change in plans, we returned the car a day earlier and the rental company charged based on the actual rental days.

Dislike: Returning the vehicle I was unsure if there would be any additional charges (such as for damage, or extra km). I had to request a Hertz staff member to look over the vehicle and assure me there would be no charges for any damage (although I did not sign anything, and nor did the Hertz staff member). The staff member also did not check the mileage on the car to know if I had driven further than the included mileage. Thus, I am still checking my credit card transactions hoping there will be no surprises from Hertz!!!!!
